A new development, Camellia Manor, in the City of Oglethorpe, Georgia. This 33-unit elderly housing development is composed of triplex buildings designed as individual cottages along winding streets surrounded by extensive landscaping. Funded through the Section 202 Program with HUD.
Comprehensive Modernization of Bryan Street Homes, an 18 dwelling unit development, that was originally constructed in 1952. This 2001 project featured extensive interior, site, and building exterior improvements to update the apartments to a more modern appearance and living condition.
This development was the first public housing project in Albany, Georgia and is located in what is now a Historic District. Overall site density was reduced through the demolition of some buildings to allow for parking and site landscaping to be added. Building exteriors were modified to update the appearance and add color to the overall development.
